On Friday June, 25 the NSW Government announced a two week lockdown for Greater Sydney to be enforced until Friday July, 9 2021. Club Menangle Trackside and the Menangle Country Club are closed to the general public until Friday July, 9 2021.
Racing activities will continue under the strict protocols administered during the previous lockdown. Only trainers, drivers and stable hands involved in the race meeting and racing officials will be permitted access Club Menangle Trackside until further notice. In accordance with the directive issued by Harness Racing NSW, horses trained outside of Greater Sydney are not permitted to compete in metropolitan race meetings until Friday July, 9 2021.
