WITH a catalogue crammed with well-bred stock and potential superstars Australian Pacing Gold’s sensational season of Ladbrokes sales is expected to continue in Perth on Sunday.
Enjoying record results during its Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney legs, the industry leader will host two sales this weekend, with Perth the finale.
Melbourne will once again be the venue for a sale, this time the Australian Premier Trotting Sale – which, as the name suggests, focuses on squaregaiters.
On the other side of the Nullarbor, 127 Lots are set to pass through the ring, with the break down consisting of 72 colts and 55 fillies.
The various Lots are by a host of the southern hemisphere’s leading sires such as American Ideal, Art Major, Bettors Delight, Four Starzzz Shark, Mach Three, Pet Rock, Rocknroll Heaven and Somebeachsomewhere to name just a portion.
Yearlings by Captaintreacherous have been in high demand throughout the nation, with the Victorian-based stallion represented by three colts.
One stallion which has a strong APG connection is Follow The Stars.
An APG graduate and winner of the 2014 APG Final in Melton, Follow The Stars has 25 progeny in the sale.
Beginning with the opening Lot of the day, Follow The Stars is represented by 15 colts and 10 fillies.
