GROUP 1 winning pacer Muscle Factory will be aimed at keeping his winning record in tact at Tabcorp Park Menangle today.
The son of Roll With Joe won first up for the Craig Cross stable on December 22 – his first start in 21 months’.
Bouncing back from an injury-enforced spell, Muscle Factory cruised the mile in 1:52.6, to space his rivals by more than 16 metres. His personal best time is three seconds faster.
Most likely to be the shortest-priced favourite today, Muscle Factory will head around in Race 3.
Meanwhile, also fresh from the winners’ circle is reinsman Sam Hewitt with two drives on today’s card.
Hewitt won with Hell Of A Memory at Goulburn on Sunday.
That was his first win in the new season and he boasts an overall record of 167 wins.
Today he will drive the Simon Locke-trained pair, Galleons Glory in Race 2 and Modern Attitude in Race 6.
