New Zealand Cup hero Lazarus is not among Hunter Cup nominations.

As expected, trainers Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen have only nominated the breathtaking four-year-old for the Victoria Cup during the Summer of Glory in Melbourne.

Purdon and Rasmussen did still nominate three of their open-class stars for the Hunter Cup On February 4. They were newly-crowned Inter Dominion champion Smolda, key Auckland Cup hopeful Titan Banner and classy four-year-old Lets Chase The Dream.

That trio along with Lazarus were nominated for the Victoria Cup to be run at Melton on January 28.

The other Kiww-trained pacers nominated for both the Victoria and Hunter Cups were: Franco Nelson, Locharburn and Tiger Tara.

David Aiken’s stable stars Lennytheshark and Hectorjayjay were nominated for both races, but it is unlikely the pair will contest them both.

They returned home to Melbourne from Perth last night.

The full list of nominations for both feature races can be found at www.harness.org.au
