A feature of the 2022 Tasmanian Harness Yearling Sale, to be held at Carrick Park on Saturday, March 5, will be the stock of several exciting, young American imported stallions.

Always B Miki and Betting Line, who headed last year’s first crop sire listing for stakemoney and winners respectively, will both be represented by two lots.

Downbytheseaside, the leading first season stakemoney sire in North America in 2021 and second on the overall list, has two fillies in the sale.

The brilliantly fast American import Mel Mara (1:47) will be represented by two colts from his first Australian crop.

Former champion three-year-old Vincent, who sired his first winner in New Zealand recently, has a single entry in the sale.

Established sires represented include Sweet Lou (the sire of Spirit Of St Louis), A Rocknroll Dance, Sportswriter, Stonebridge Regal, Warrawee Needy, Changeover and Cam’s Fool.
