BB1One of Tasmania’s leading young trainer /drivers Nathan Ford had his appeal last Friday dismissed by the Racing Appeals Board, Ford was originally charged in August last year after he faking  a urine sample taken on May 24 2015.

Ford was found guilty on two accounts under rule AHRR 243 which states:“A person employed, engaged or participating in the harness racing industry shall not behave in a way which is prejudicial or detrimental to the industry.”

Ford was originally disqualified till August 2019and after losing his appeal that penalty will stand.

The talent Ford represented the state in 2011 at the Australasian  Junior Drivers Championship in New Zealand in which he finished third behind Joshua Dickie.
