TAB punters have rallied behind star New Zealander Bettor Twist, who has been heavily supported to inflict Ladies In Red’s second-straight defeat at Tabcorp Park Melton on Saturday night.
Since markets opened during the week, the Nathan Purdon-trained filly has been the subject of a flurry of big bets, including one $7000 wager at $1.70.
Bettor Twist has drawn barrier five for the Villawood Properties Breeders Crown Series 3YO Fillies 2nd Semi Final, while Ladies In Red will start from the back row in nine.
There’s already been plenty of betting action right across Saturday night’s card, with Emma Stewart-trained pair Joanna and Techys Angel among the best backed.
