Just two meetings in and it appears the revamped Mildura trotting track has become a speed bowl of sorts.
After rave reviews from participants and punters alike following the return meeting just over a week ago, Tuesday night saw a quirky and undoubtedly unique stat reached.
Every single race at the venue saw a mile rate of 2:00.0 broken.
Known for its competitive and exciting racing, has already seen trainers travelling horses far and wide to attack the new and improved circuit.
And with the camber improving from around 7% to 12% in most places, it’s hard to argue the track is as fair as a punter or owner could ask.
The highlight winner of Tuesday night’s program was Ona Rocky Beach who was just a second outside of Uncle Wingnut’s track record as he stamped his claims as the region’s best open class pacer.
Mildura’s next meeting will be held on Thursday Night, January 7.
