THERE is a marathon ten race card at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Saturday night and HRNSW’s Amanda Rando has studied the form to find everyone a winner. The feature race of the night is the Australian Pacing Gold two year old fillies final and Amanda’s best bet will compete in the event.
Petacular was very impressive when winning her semi final at Menangle last Saturday night and Amanda sees no reason why the talented filly can’t win again. Petacular has been versatile throughout her short career and after leading last start she will be forced into a different role this week with the explosive beginner High Rolling drawn in barrier three.
Next best according to Amanda is the Mark Callaghan trained Ima Grumy Possum. Formerly trained by James Rattray, the mare has been racing well since moving to the Hunter Valley and does get the services of leading driver Todd McCarthy.
