In an unusual occurrence there will be 16 races at Menangle today.
With races spread across two separate meetings, the usual provincial Menangle meeting will take place today while heats of the Australian Pacing Gold Bullion series will be held tonight.
New South Wales’ leading driver Cameron Hart will take part in both meetings, with the majority of his drives in the second Menangle program.
Fresh from Group 1 glory winning the Riverina Championship with Ideal Dan at Wagga on Saturday, the majority of Hart’s drives tonight are for trainer Jarrod Alchin.
The pair will team up with five horses including Alchin’s top line juveniles Madrid and My Ultimate Byron.
Hart will also drive the unbeaten My Ultimate Snowy for Alchin in race four tonight.
