LEADING reinsman Todd McCarthy will represent New South Wales in the upcoming Australasian Young Drivers Championship.
To run in conjunction with the 2016 Inter Dominion Series in Perth, Western Australia, McCarthy is honoured to be part of the series which runs from December 2 to 9.
“This is very exciting, I’m really looking forward to it,” McCarthy said.
McCarthy has had a stellar year in the sulky, dominating many premierships.
The 23-year-old finished the 2015/16 season as New South Wales’ leading state driver, leading metropolitan driver and top concession driver too.
Just last month the Cobbitty-based driver piloted his 500th winner and also earlier in the year snared his first Group One winner when taking out the Ladyship Mile with Frith.
