Harness Breeders Victoria board member Dr Kath McIntosh has drawn the curtains on Llowalong Farms, the breeding arm of the vet’s flourishing Victorian stud.
Previously under the guise of the Northern Rivers Equine vet clinic, Dr McIntosh said the stud had been rebranded in honour of her Grandfather, World War II veteran Jack Adams, having been named after one of his Gippsland farms.
“With his early influence as a successful farmer and involvement with cattle and racehorses, his unwavering support and the support of my parents, his fine example of work ethic and passion for life I was able to have the opportunity to become the veterinarian I had always dreamed to be,” Dr McIntosh said.
