Lewy Risk is ideally placed to win a c3-6 free-for-all at Forbury Park on Friday night.

He is the most tightly assessed horse in the field  for race 9 (9.33pm), the Dunedin Holiday Park Pace  over 2200m (mobile) and has performed well this season. Lewy Risk was a winner at Addington in October and  fourth behind Alta Ronaldo at Kaikoura last month.  His trainer, Lew Driver rarely makes the trip to Dunedin from Balcairn.

Matthew Williamson has the drive on Lewy Risk with regular driver Colin De Filippi not on hand. An outside draw should not prove a hurdle for Lewy Risk.

Clive and Remiss are recent winners in the field who could capitalise on favourable draws.

Don Ross, the Broadfield owner-trainer of Clive, has Mon Richie, a sound prospect in race 5 (7.35pm). Mon Richie won a maiden trot at Addington in October and finished third on New Zealand Cup day.

Uncle Ben is back on his favourite track with a drop back in assessment for race 4.

Uncle Ben, now c2, has drawn favourably in The Carpet Store Mobile Pace ( 7.04 pm)for junior drivers with Brad  Williamson aboard.  Uncle Ben has not won in his last 10 starts but he has been placed  six times.  The Mach Three gelding has twice finished second at Addington. Uncle Ben has won six races with four of those  coming at Forbury Park. The most recent was in June. Trainer Kirk Larsen has driven Uncle Ben in his six wins.

Larsen has Jango Fett, another drop back horse, in race 9 (9.33 pm). Jango Fett has not been successful since the Gore Trotting Cup close on 12 months ago. The closest the Western Ideal entire has come to winning in between times is a sixth. As a c3 horse he could be up against it.
