It was a bit sweet night of Nicole and Dean Molander their champion trotter Keystone Del smashed the track record for 2240 metres of 1.57.2 in winning the Group 3 Scotch Notch Memorial, then they announced that the super star trotter would be transferred out of their stables later this month when the lease expires.

Keystone Del has won 28 races since joining the Molander yard in 2012 from New Zealand.

30 wins overall with 7 seconds and 2 thirds and $772,919 in prize money from 51 starts.

Keystone Del will be transferred to Brent Lilley stables when the lease expires on November 12.

Then just over half an hour later the Molander trained Will Mach My Word led throughout the Group 2 Melton Plate.

Will Mach My Word was perfectly rated in front by Chris Alford to beat the fancied pair Yankee Rockstar and Major Crocker.

The Mach Three-five year has now won four of his five starts this season his only defeat was a second to Sometimetodream in September.

Yankee Rockstar sprinted home late to garb second spot from Major Crocker which sat outside Will Mach My Word after driver Greg Sugars made an early move to get outside the leader.

Will Mach My Word has plenty of wins left in him and hopefully for the Molanders will become their new stable star.
