1The Leigh Plunkett Foundation and Pinjarra Harness Racing Club are delighted to soon welcome Kerryn Manning as the guest of honour at a Fundraising Dinner, during the forthcoming TABtouch Inter Dominion Carnival in Western Australia.

The event will be held on Wednesday 30th November at the Pinjarra Paceway, commencing at 7pm.

The World’s Leading Female Harness Racing Driver, Kerryn Manning, is making the trip to WA as the event’s special guest speaker; the records set by Kerryn, in a career that now spans twenty years, will be discussed in a conversational interview on the night, conducted by the doyen of race callers, John Hunt.

During the evening there will be fundraising raffles and a range of auction items, including sporting memorabilia and holiday accommodation at a Bali Villa to name a few.  Profits from the event will be donated to the Leigh Plunkett Foundation and to the Women’s Cancer Foundation, who oversee the Ovarian Cancer Institute.

The Leigh Plunkett Foundation was established in 2013 to raise money to fund an annual Scholarship for a young person involved in harness racing, to travel overseas to further their education and experience as well as to donate money to the nominated charities.  As Kerryn Manning is an ambassador for the Women’s Cancer Foundation in Victoria, this charity was chosen also to benefit financially from the event.

TICKETS are on sale now – only $60 per person or $400 for a table of 8 and include a scrumptious three course buffet meal, a complimentary drink on arrival plus the chance to win some great door prizes.

A free bus service to the function will operate from the Byford Trotting Club – seats on the bus can be booked when purchasing your ticket.

To secure your ticket to this special event, contact the Pinjarra Harness Racing Club on 9531 1941 or pinjtrots@westnet.com.au
