Young reinswoman Taylah Osmond had a busy weekend and it paid off for the 18-year-old.
After driving a winner at West Wyalong’s Carnival of Cups meeting last Friday, Osmond was back on the road and headed to Menangle on Saturday night to compete in the Mates4Harness Young Stars Invitational.
Osmond was successful in the feature after teaming up with the gelding Unfazed.
“It was great,” said Osmond following the win.
“This is only my third metropolitan drive so that was really special.”
Osmond has now banked 31 winners in her career that began in the 2019/20 season.
Meanwhile, racing returns to Riverina Paceway tonight.
Leading trainer David Kennedy has three horses engaged after campaign some of his team at Menangle the last few weeks.
Kennedy had three placegetters at Menangle’s feature meeting last Saturday night including Braedos Lad that was third in the NSW Breeders Challenge four-year-old colts and geldings final.
