Jayden Barker has shared the thrill of his first winner as a driver, a profession he “loves”.
The 23-year-old has spent four years as a stablehand with David Miles and in his 2st start broke through for win number one at Shepparton on Sunday when he led and scored on Twoforsixty.
“It took a while to sink in that I actually won, it was a pretty good feeling and I was quite glad to get over the line in first,” Barker told Trots Media’s podcast, TrotLine.
“I love (driving). It’s been quite difficult. You make a few mistakes at the start but it was great to finally get the win under my belt.”
