2Heat night 2 of the Inter Dominion will be seen in detail from all over Australia thanks to the extended coverage of the series on Sky 2. Hosted by Adam Hamilton, Gareth Hall and local form expert Matthew Young, the coverage will also include interviews and stories from key players from the Inter Dominion series.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to interview more of the participants and capture the atmosphere of such a fantastic and important night of racing,” Sky Racing’s Gareth Hall said.

It’s the first time heats of the time honoured championship have been run at a provincial track. Three 1609m mobile heats will be run on the night, the extra coverage will boost the identity of Bunbury as a Harness Racing venue.

Lennytheshark is a solid favourite to take out the 2015 TABtouch Inter Dominion, and had drawn sweetly in barrier three. The David Aiken trained pacer was a recent winner over the short trip when winning the Smoken Up Sprint before heading west.

Mach Beauty will be looking to press forward again after running a solid lead time on Friday and finishing in 7th position. It was later revealed to GPTV that the horse got down on his bumpers for the first time in the run.

“Shoeing will be changed to hopefully rectify before the next heat of the Inters” said trainer Shane Tritton to GPTV.

“It was the first time he has done it, it would have affected his performance”

Philadelphia Man will need to overcome a backline draw if he is to make it two in a row – the sprint lane won’t be in operation for the night so driver Gavin lang may look to come off the pegs early.

The first race at Bunbury is 4.50pm local time (7.50pm Melbourne/Sydney) with the Inter Dominion heats scheduled for:

Heat four at 5.50pm (8.50pm EST); Heat 5 at 6.20pm (9.20pm EST) and Heat 6 at 7.17pm (10.17pm EST).
