THE new Menangle Training Centre has attracted trainers like Shane Tritton, David Aiken, Nathan Jack, Amanda Turnbull, Darren Binskin, Narissa McMullen and Shane Sanderson. Local Menangle trainer Jarrod Alchin also decided to make the move to the new facility and has enjoyed immediate success.
Alchin has employed his brother Alex as his foreman and together they prepared three year old trotter Bacardi Hurricane to win at Group 1 level in Victoria earlier this year. The brothers come from the small town of Temora, famous as the home of the star pacer Paleface Adios.
Jarrod’s stable includes pacers such as Lombo Final Touch, Got The Scoop, Lauramegan and Floyd Mayweather while he also has well performed trotters including Bacardi Hurricane, Our Dainty Lady and Paris Pepperell. While working for Jarrod, Alex also trains two year old filly Joyces Desire and trotter Cyclone Lucky Seven.
