Friday night – Newcastle Race 3 Number 11 One Hell Of A Ride – trained by Ian Wilson and driven by Jim Douglass, One Hell Of A Ride has been competing in stronger races at Menangle.  He galloped in the score up last start but does get Douglass again this week.  If he scores up he should have way too much class for his rivals.

Saturday night – Menangle Race 5 Number 6 Bling It On – some have suggested the Miracle Mile runner has been disappointing this preparation but iForm is tipping a return to the winner’s list for the stallion and suggests an all the way victory wouldn’t surprise over the 2300 metres.

Saturday night – Wagga Race 3 Number 2 Boundtobemad – An early scratching means Boundtobemad will get a run despite being named the first emergency for the event.  A handy filly that placed in the Breeders Challenge as a two year old and last time out finished third behind Heavens Trend in a heat of the same series.  Looks well placed in the race.

Sunday night – Canberra Race 1 Number 2 Storm Burst – The five year old has joined the Alex Alchin stable and will be driven by his eldest brother Jarrod.  Only victory in his 36 start career was in August last year.  Not a lot of depth in the opposition and a big improvement wouldn’t surprise.
