The “independent handicapper” has set the marks for the upcoming Harness Racing Victoria Ride to Conquer Cancer team.
Par for the 102.4km course is considered to be 5.5 hours.
Joe Isivic has been handicapped -2.5 hours, meaning Joe has to complete the course in three hours or at an average speed of 34kmph.
Isivic is a stallion who has been in great form of late with incredible rides between Geelong and Melbourne.
Daniel Caruana and James Cardona have both received a one-hour handicap. Both young stallions show promise, one having a long distance gait while the other shows great enthusiasm but has not trialled over the distance.
While John Packer, Te-Anu Brady, Fiona Icely (not in photo) and Damien Madden are off an even mark but show that lack of recent form is no reflection on the pedigree.
The Ride takes place October 24-25 from Melbourne, through the Mornington Peninsula, with participants taking in picturesque vineyards, nature preserves and coastal communities.
