HRNZ BOARD – OWNERS’ REPRESENTATIVE
Harness Racing New Zealand Inc (HRNZ) is the code governing body for harness racing as recognised by the Racing Act 2003.
Nominations are sought for the position of Owners’ Representative on the Board of HRNZ.
This is a governance role, with key responsibilities as a Board member including the development of industry policy along with strategic and business plans for the organisation.
The successful applicant should have:
- A good knowledge and passion for the harness racing industry
- Sound commercial acumen and professional experience in business
- An understanding of the role of governance
Applications will be considered by an Appointments Committee established by the NZ Trotting Owners’ Association and HRNZ. All applications will be considered in strict confidence and interviews may be required.
For each nominee, a covering letter and up-to-date curriculum vitae are required.
