Hobby driver David Farrugia has had two drives this season for two wins.
The Cranbrook horseman will be looking to continue his 100 per cent strike rate at Bathurst tonight with his pacer Joe By The Seaside in the opening race.
Farrugia has driven the gelding at his last two starts, resulting in those two wins.
Meanwhile, local horsewoman Amanda Turnbull is preparing for a big week ahead.
Turnbull has five drives locked in at Bathurst tonight with three of those on horses she trains.
The 33-year-old is nearing 1000 wins as a trainer and heads to Bathurst with 992 wins to her name following her pacer Old Luke winning at Albion Park, Queensland, yesterday.
Turnbull also has dual starters in the $100,000 TAB Regional Championship State Final at Menangle on Saturday with Iam The Captain and Alta Billy while her top-performing pacer Bundoran also makes a racing return after a month away from the track.
