Heard The Whisper is a top chance at Forbury Park on Thursday night, the day after his part-owner, Gerald Cayford has been re-elected president of the club.

Heard The Whisper (race 6 7.55 pm) ran  fourth at Addington last Friday following a win there on October 30. Brad Williamson, who drove Heard The Whisper in his win  is back in the sulky with brother, Matthew committed to Moa Bones.

Heard The Whisper  has won four races in 12 starts since he was bought by Cayford and  Brian Bennett in July.  Heard The Whisper had qualified at Oamaru that month for Phil Williamson and remained in the stable. Cayford, who has raced several horses, was seeking a more up-market purchase when he bought the Sundon – Little Contessa gelding, a brother to Irish Whisper (11 wins) from Bev Williamson.

Moa Bones, a winner at Winton two starts back, is capable of a bold bid off the front. Vulcan should be in the money from 40m. The 9yr-old has been runner up in his two starts since transferring to the stable of Amber Hoffman.

The Williamson stable is in line for a double with Winners Shout in the  c1 trot (race 8,  8.49pm). Winners Shout was successful at Wyndham on November 8.

The 3yr-old son of Great Success – Run A Tab, raced by Brad Williamson and Grant Gray, of Invercargill was having his second start. He is the first foal of Run A Tab, an American import who won eight races from 30 starts for moderate stake earnings. She trotted 1.57.3 for a mile.

Live To Tell, winner of  the first heat of the sprint  (1200m) series on November 6, is  hard to go past in the second heat. Matthew Williamson takes the drive  with Dexter Dunn on  the Cran Dalgety-trained Media Queen, a newcomer to the series.

Royal Caroline, who ran second to Live To Tell, has to rate from barrier two.
