THE Gold Crown Carnival continues at Bathurst today with heats of the Gold Chalice and Gold Bracelet for the three-year-old pacers.
The likes of NSW Oaks winner Just Hope, Madrid and Mister Rea will all step out today.
Meanwhile, evergreen Australian pacer Alta Orlando has been the latest to gain a spot in New Zealand’s new slot race.
The Race, as it is known, is worth $900,000NZ and will take place at Cambridge on April 14.
Young reinsman Jack Callaghan will retain the drive on the Belinda McCarthy-trained gelding having won on the 10-year-old in his last two starts.
Other Australian campaigned horses to gain a spot in The Race include Mach Dan, Ladyship Mile winner Stylish Memphis and Spellbound.
