The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a neat 9 race program this Saturday night.

And the opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the 1660m.

Included amongst the field is a plethora of last start winners – Watch Pulp Fiction, Jester Oh Jester, Braodway Playboy, Montana Falcon and Max Richter all proving successful at their most recent attempt.

And all five pacers were very impressive in their own right while posting fast times and should prove very competitive once again.

Others to consider include Overlap, Munroe, Our Hi Jinx, Jerrys Jet and War Dan Apollo.

Gambling giant UBET is offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 Trifecta pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.

Another highlight is race 8 on the program, the ‘Remembering Happy Haldon’ Open Pace over the distance of 2138m.

The free-for-all event features quality performers Avonnova, Major Cam, Majestic Major and Amajorjo among others.

Happy Haldon, a wonderful performer for the combination of Slim Dykman and Wynn Bottrell, is best remembered for her victories in the 1989 Queensland Oaks plus her triumphs in the Paleface Adios Classic, Breeders Stakes, Ribbons and Bows plus theNSW Breeders Plate among many others.

The Romeo Allegro mare retired in 1992 and amassed more than $290,000 in stakes following her 62 victories.

As it stands, her total of 62 victories is a record that still stands for most wins by a mare in Australia.

The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.

Heat winners on Tuesday were Bodhi Tree and Fire And Ice while others to be considered include Fon Ideal, All After Me, That’s How Weroll, Sir Semper Fidelis and Franco Totem among others.

The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 2 on the card – the opening leg of the UBET Quadrella.

A Quadrella jackpot of $10,000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3 through to 9.
