7The Racing Queensland/UBET Picket Fence Challenge commences tomorrow night at Albion Park with pacers vying to share in $111,000 worth of bonuses.

UBET PICKET FENCE races will be held at Albion Park and Redcliffe Harness Racing clubs from 18 June – 16 July 2016, pathways are available for 2YO, 3YO and open class pacers.

Eligible races are any “career’ or “metropolitan’ races.

To be eligible, your first two Picket Fence victories must be obtained while racing in Queensland, leading up to the UBET Picket Fence finale night.

The final Picket must be obtained by winning one of the four UBET PICKET FENCE finales on Blacks A Fake race night at Albion Park 16 July.

And a number of pacers will take their shot this weekend to land their first Picket Fence panel.

A super strong 11 race program is scheduled with several features scheduled including a pair of Gr.2 $50,000 QBRED Breeders Classic Finals, the Gr.3 $30,000 Lucky Creed Open Pace plus a $20,000 Rising Stars Championship Final.

Great fields have been assembled.

Gambling giant UBET are offering a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 on the opening race while a $10,000 jackpot is also slated for the event.

And the opening event has drawn together a competitive field featuring several in-from runners in the 1660m mobile start event.

A number of runners boast excellent credentials headlined by the very consistent Applause for leading trainer/driver Grant Dixon; the Mach Three gelding will attract plenty of support.

A Quadrella jackpot of $14,000 is also programmed; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

Again, the quaddie legs look open with several even races assembled meaning punters will get great value.

UBET also have a $10,000 guaranteed trifecta pool slated for race three plus F4 jackpots of $2000 on races 6, 7 & 8.
