Once again, the Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong nine race program this Saturday night.

And the opening race has attracted an even field of 11 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the distance of 2138m.

Gambling giant UBET is offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 Trifecta pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.

High priced former New Zealand pacer Watch Pulp Fiction is shooting for a hat-trick of victories at headquarters but faces a difficult challenge after drawing awkwardly in gate 8, the inside of the second-line.

The Art Major entire is one of three runners in the event for trainer Chantal Turpin with Amajorjo and Feel The Courage also representing her Patrick Estate stable.

Both Grant Dixon (Applause & Max Richter) and Jack Butler (Jester Oh Jester & Western Blaze) are also duly represented.

Others to be considered include Montana Falcon, Clarkey and Flaming Hero.

Another highlight is race 8 on the program, the ‘Remembering Jans Chance’ Open Pace over the distance of 2138m.

Richly talented pacer Mattgregor will start a warm favourite despite being fresh-up, the five-year-old is resuming since finishing fifth behind Hectorjayjay in the Sunshine Sprint during the winter carnival back in July.

Jans Chance, a winner of the 1978 Queensland Oaks was prepared by former world driving champion Keith Addison.

The former South Australian horseman enjoyed considerable success in the Sunshine State with a number of quality performers including Jans Chance.

The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.

Heat winners on Tuesday were Bodhi Tree and Timmo Time while others to be considered include Oasis Dream, Sir Semper Fidelis, Subtle Delight, Franco Totem and Charms On A Roll among others.

The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 2 on the card – the opening leg of the UBET Quadrella.

A Quadrella jackpot of $5000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

UBET have also slated $2000 jackpot trifecta pools on races 3 through to 9.
