12The Albion Park Harness Racing Club is where punters need to focus this Saturday night.

And gambling giant UBET is offering plenty of reasons to do your homework.

A guaranteed $200,000 trifecta pool is being staged on the opening event, the Horsepower Nutrition Pace over 2138m which also carries a $50,000 jackpot.

Yes, a guaranteed $200,000 trifecta pool!

Impressive last start Albion Park winner Ellmer Hanover will command plenty of respect despite a tricky second-line draw while the ideally drawn pair of Marty Bee and Long Term Fella will also attract plenty of support.

Reigning Australian Driver of the Year Shane Graham is booked to drive Ellmer Hanover.

Albion Park course commentator Chris Barsby is expecting a keenly contested event and believes the race boasts several winning hopes owing to the barrier draw.

“This looks a race that has several winning chances but Marty Bee and Arma Legend are looming as key players from their respective draws, I think Marty Bee will be driven aggressively early and should hold the lead while Arma Legend is drawn directly behind him and is clearly capable of using the sprintlane to score.” Barsby said.

Marty Bee is prepared by former Bathurst horseman Jack Butler and the astute trainer has his team ticking over nicely currently.

Concession driver Amy Rees is booked to take the drive.

“Although winless to date this campaign, Marty Bee has been performing well without much luck and the inside barrier is a massive boost for his chances this weekend. He’s a dual winner this track and he had little or no luck last week when down the track behind All I Want.

“I think Marty Bee is a great chance of holding up early and that presents Arma Legend with a great chance of landing a key spot on the marker line, he was probably a little plain on Tuesday but his efforts prior were very good. Arma Legend is a winning chance in what shapes as an open event.

“Ellmer Hanover can win again if the pace is consistent throughout while Long Term Fella, One Eyed Terror, Deano Robyn, Packnplenty, Ideal Situation and Feel The Courage also have winning claims. I’m expecting a good dividend from this race because it does appear very even.”

The first of 10 races is scheduled to start at 4.57pm.
