4The Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.

And again punters have the chance to win big with gambling giant UBET offering a huge $100,000 guaranteed trifecta pool on the opening race.

A jackpot component of $25,000 is also programmed for the opening race.

This program officially kicks off the new look summer carnival, running from November 26 before climaxing on December 17 with several features programmed over the four week period.

The $20,000 Lord Mayors Cup for the open class pacers is the main event this weekend while the APHRC Members Cup for the intermediate grade pacers is a great support feature.

Triple Queensland Horse of the Year Avonnova was in Perth this time last year in readiness for the Inter Dominion series, this year, he lines at his home track keen to get back into the winners circle.

The Ian Gurney trained star missed a place last week when chasing in-form pacer Beaver in the open and again, Beaver looms as the main threat after landing the coveted inside draw in the 2138m feature.

Early tactics will prove vital with a number of speedy beginners drawn the front-line.

Quality performers Glenferrie Hood and Caesars Folly will also command respect.

Over the coming weeks, several Sydney trained performers are expected to head north chasing the handsome prizemoney.

A guaranteed $20,000 Quadrella pool is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

Most legs of the quaddie appear open and loaded with chances which could easily provide value for punters.

UBET also have a $10,000 guaranteed trifecta pool slated for race three.

As an added bonus, jackpot First 4 pools of $5000 have been allocated for both features, races 5 and 6, the APHRC Members Cup and the Lord Mayors Cup.
