Young trainer Jason Grimson has affirmed himself as one of the top conditioners in New South Wales this season.
With 90 winners to his credit this term alone, the 28-year-old is the second leading trainer at Menangle behind Belinda McCarthy.
Grimson joins McCarthy, as well as David Aiken, as the only trainers with multiple representations in Saturday night’s $500,000 Inter Dominion Pacing Championship Final.
Grimson’s two-pronged attack in the time-honoured feature is with Majestic Cruiser and Boncel Benjamin who have both raced consistently throughout the series.
His pacers have drawn barriers six and seven, respectively.
Grimson has six starters at Menangle across the venue’s two meetings tonight and tomorrow.
Heading into Menangle tonight, Grimson has trained 196 winners overall.
