MEDIA RELEASE
The HRA executive has approved a lift to the Graduation Penalty threshold from $3,500 to $4,500.
This change will come into effect in South Australia from June 1 2018.
Amendments were required to the previously published race programs in South Australia during the months of June and July to accommodate this change.
The first meeting affected by this change is the Port Pirie meeting on Sunday June 3. All races originally programmed as $5,000 Country Penalty events will now be $4,500 Graduation Penalty events.
A $5,000 Country Penalty Conditioned Race has been added to the program, to accommodate any horse still wishing to compete for this prizemoney level.
Please see the website or contact HRSA for a copy of the amended programs for June and July.
In light of this change, HRSA will review the current programming structure.
