Gloucester Park will race on Saturday this week instead of the traditional Friday night due to Australia Day activities in the Perth CBD.
The City of Perth’s Skyworks show, which lasts 30 minutes and commences at 8pm (WAST) and the unavailability of earlier race times on the Public Holiday means that the meeting had to be transferred from Australia Day for safety reasons.
The metropolitan meeting will be held on Saturday 27th January with all 10 races covered by Sky1 and the first race scheduled for 5.45pm (WAST).
Albany and Busselton clubs will conduct race meetings on the Friday night.
