Rebecca Geurds and Franca Carbone both have a very well bred filly nominated for the Allwood Stud Farm SA Yearling Sale coming up on March 15 at Magic Millions Complex Morphettville
Miss Carbone has the first foal out of five time winner LIFES A MIRACLE a Life sign mare early in the sale Lot 3.
LIFES A MIRACLE was purchased originally by Sam And Pauline Spirou and had just one start for Franca’s father Pat before being transferred to Heather Stevens yard.
The Spirou’s sent her to Bettors Delight but she unfortunately failed to get in foal, The Spirou’s then offered her to Franca Carbone.
“Sam and Pauline knew I loved her so when they decided not to breed anymore, they offered to me” Franca said.
This well grown filly is by Auckland Reactor sire NZ Free For Winner Chase Auckland who recently was placed in the Ballarat and Hunter Cups in Victoria.
LIFES A MIRACLE is out of the SA Oaks winner Slaps who also claimed the Mermaid Stakes and Gawler Oaks as a three-year-old and ran third in the Victorian Oaks as a three-year-old
“This filly is closely related to Jilliby Kung Fu who won the Chariots Of Fire and runner up in the Miracle Mile” Miss Carbone added.
The best mare in the world today, Shartin, is by Tintin In America, as is Lot 7 in the Allwood Stud Farm SA Yearling sale to be held on March 15.
Tintin In America, by Mcardle, is a renowned sire of fillies/mares and in fact his top three 100,000k plus earners have all been females, as is Tintin In America’s latest Group 1 winner, the unbeaten, Lady Jadore winner of the WA Sales Classic at Gloucester Park on February 28.
Therefore it is not surprising that Tintin IN Americia’s sire, Mcardle’s leading stakes winner is champion mare Nike Franco.
Lot 7 in the sale is out of the Elsu mare JACUZZISUZZI and this is just her second live foal which is offered by Rebecca Geurds.
JACUZZISUZZI won 10 races and is out of producing mare Jacuzzi, who has left two winners of more than $200,000 in Ambro The Thug, 19 wins, including the NZ 2yo Sires Stakes Group 1 and Mattnamaras Band, 13 wins, who was placed in the Group1 NZ Welcome Stakes. Jacuzzi has also left the dam of Whozideawasthis, the winner of 23 races and over $200k in prize money.
Mustang Bart (19 wins), who ran placings in the Cranbourne, Hamilton and Charlton is also found in this fillies family
JACUZZISUZZI hails from the famed Bessie B family. Some big names from the Bessie B N2 family are Terror To Love, Lombo Pocket Watch, Lombo La Fe Fe and Preux Chevalier, just to name a few.
Don’t forget you can redeem SAMOS Certificates, up to the value $1600, on any filly that goes through the ring.
