Inter Dominion-winning reinsman Josh Gallagher returns to driving at Penrith tonight.
The 21-year-old has not driven since winning the $500,000 Grand Circuit classic with Boncel Benjamin at Menangle on December 11.
Gallagher is driving in the first five races, starting with the Troy Williams-trained Manly Mach in race one.
Gallagher drove Manly Mach to victory at Menangle five starts ago when the pacer ran a personal best 1:51.9.
Gallagher will then team up with trainer Kevin Pizzuto for his next three drives in the following three races with Bettors Highlight, Accelere and Vincent Van Gone.
He will then drive Pay Me Overs for trainer KerryAnn Morris in race five and has picked up two catch drives later in the meeting.
In just his fourth season of driving, Gallagher has emerged as one of New South Wales’ leading drivers.
He has pocketed 120 wins for the season so far, the first time he has driven more than a century of wins in a term.
