The scheduled race meeting for Forbury Park tomorrow night (Thursday) has been postponed due to weather conditions and will now be run on Saturday afternoon (July 15th). This is due to weather conditions making travel unsafe for participants.
“Safety of the participants is of paramount concern. The opportunity to race on Saturday and make a go of the meeting was the only logical course of action,” said Gerard Cayford, the President of the Forbury Park Trotting Club.
The new start time will be 11.45am, the details of the full race meeting will be will be updated in due course here.
This will obviously affect the running of the 2017 McMillan Equine Feeds Junior Driver Championship, and will now mean that the first heats will be at Addington on Friday night and the final heats at this Forbury meeting on Saturday.
