Premiership-winning horseman Paul Fitzpatrick is looking for success to continue at Menangle today.
The Cawdor mentor will take six-time winner Yankee Ideal to the 1400m track following success at that venue last Saturday.
Fitzpatrick and his son Gavin combined to win the JD Watts Memorial with New Zealand pacer South Coast Arden.
South Coast Arden is now unbeaten in his two starts for Fitzpatrick and on the weekend set a personal best mile rate clocking 1:49.1.
The gelding arrived in Australia in February having been trained in New Zealand by Brent Mangos.
He now boasts a record of 15 wins in 41 starts and earnings of $525,405.
This gave Fitzpatrick 2707 training wins.
