After the $1million Miracle Mile was postponed last Saturday night due to extreme weather conditions the Menangle track has had another setback.
Today’s meeting scheduled at the venue was abandoned yesterday morning due to the extreme weather conditions and higher flood levels forecasted.
Works are also in place to repair the track from the weather it faced last weekend.
The Miracle Mile is rescheduled at Menangle this Saturday night with the field in the same barrier starting positions.
It was only 40 minutes prior to the Miracle Mile being run at Menangle last Saturday that a savage storm hit, cancelling the remainder of the meeting.
The first six races on the program were run with the last three abandoned.
