8An exciting new coverage of Gloucester Park will commence this Friday night on Sky Racing.

Gareth Hall will return for the first time to Sky Racing since his move West to head-up the TABradio Breakfast team, to host the coverage live trackside from the famous Perth circuit.

“We are thrilled to have Gareth, who is so passionate and knowledgeable, back on Sky Racing on a regular basis,” said Sky Racing’s Head of Talent Adam Hamilton.

“The timing is perfect as we countdown to another huge Perth Inter Dominion series.”

Gareth will take the reins of the national Sky1 broadcast from 6.30pm (WA time) through until the last Gloucester Park race.

“It is great that RWWA and Sky Racing have worked together to get such a great result for harness racing with this new initiative,” said Gloucester Park President, John Burt.

“Gareth will also head up Gloucester Park’s GPTV, which starts again this week in conjunction with the new coverage.

“This wouldn’t be possible without the support of our new vision provider, Mediatec, who do a great job in Victoria and have been here at Gloucester Park since the start of August.

“Gareth’s breakfast radio show, The Sports Daily has been fantastic to listen to since it debuted a few weeks ago and it is only getting better,” Burt added.

Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) is extremely supportive of its’ TABradio Breakfast Host returning to Sky Racing in his new Western Australian based role.

“RWWA is proud to see our very own TABradio host Gareth Hall take up this new opportunity. Gareth’s experience and knowledge of the industry will be invaluable in the promotion of harness racing in Western Australian and will provide an opportunity to showcase our local product and premier harness venue on a national landscape,” said RWWA CEO Richard Burt.

The new coverage starts this Friday night on Sky1 from 6.30pm (WA time).
