4Empire Stallions made a clean sweep of the $50,000 Vicbred Platinum Home 3YO Grown Classic Finals at Tabcorp Park, Melton last Saturday night.

The Avenel based stud’s roster provided the first three placegetters in the Colts & Geldings and the quinella in the Fillies Finals.

The Emma Stewart trained Sirletic ($11.10) lobbed along at the rear of the field and came from second last on the home turn to produce a barn storming finale getting up to  score by two metres from Albarock with a brave Rocknroll Icon half a metre away third in the Colts & Geldings  Final.

Sirletic smashed the three year old track record returning a mile rate of 1:53.7 and the win completed a hat trick of wins for the son of Rocknroll Hanover who also sired both the runner up Albarock and the third placegetter Rocknroll Icon.

Earlier in the night the Russell Jack trained filly Gracie Angel took out the 3YO Fillies Final in a thrilling three way finish.

Gracie Angel ($4.50) enjoyed the run of the race behind the leader  and made full use of the sprint lane in the home straight getting up to score a last stride win from stable mate Jo An Leonie with Nances Delight a neck away third.

Both the winner and runner up are daughters of Somebeachsomewhere.
