8Leading Queensland horseman Grant Dixon claimed both Gr.1 $100,000 QBRED Triad 3yo Finals at Albion Park on Saturday night.

Smart pacers Get In The Groove and Frankie Rocks led throughout to win their respective features.

Both three-year-olds are raced by their breeders, Kevin and Kay Seymour.

In the fillies final, Get In The Groove mustered enough speed at the start to lead from the inside gate before holding off a determined Covert Beauty and Cherish The Moment in a driving finish.

Get In The Groove rated 1:57.8 for the 2138m event while finishing off in a brilliant final section of 27.8 seconds.

The Mach Three – Get Happy filly will be aimed at a number of features during the upcoming Brisbane winter carnival including the Gr.1 $75,000 Queensland Oaks on July 9.

Get In The Groove is the first winner from Get Happy, a mare by P B Bullville.

It was similar situation in the colts and geldings final; Frankie Rocks held the lead from his inside gate and defied a spirited challenge from Catcha Lefty and Leos Best.

Frankie Rocks rated 1:57.5 for the 2138m event while running home in 28.9 and 28.3 seconds.

The Rock N Roll Heaven – Faith Prevails gelding will also contest a number of features in the coming weeks during the Brisbane winter carnival including the Gr.1 $75,000 Queensland Derby on July 16.

Frankie Rocks is the younger half-brother to well performed mare Feel The Faith (by Mr Feelgood), a winner of 11 races and more than $110,000 in stakes.

In the Gr.2 $50,000 QBRED Triad 4yo Finals, race favourites Major Cam and Bettorthanspecial led throughout to claim their respective finals.

Major Cam proved too strong in the entires and geldings’ final holding off Major Coup and Constantlysideways in a busy finish.

The Art Major – Ella Cam gelding rated 1:56.2 for the 2138m event.

Major Cam is trained by Kylie Rasmussen and Darren Weeks and was handled by Mathew Neilson.

The hulking gelding is a younger half-brother to Western Cam (19 wins – $180,000) and is raced by his breeder, Cheryl Rasmussen.

Bettorthanspecial scored the easiest victory on the night when leading all the way the mare’s final.

Prepared by Shannon Price and Scott Miller, Bettorthanspecial provided leading reinsman Shane Graham with an easy drive and coasted to the line well clear of their nearest rivals Mathilda Diventa and Bettor Promise.

Bettorthanspecial rated 1:59.6 for the 2138m event.

Bred and raced by Raboki, the Bettors Delight – Specialagentcullen is now the winner of more than $227,000.
