Leading female driver Dani Hill today at Globe Derby drove her 100 th winner of the season, when former Victorian Collide scored in Roseworth Roadhouse Pace race two on the nine event program.
Collide a 5 year old mare by Artistic Fella was advertised on trade ring for just $1000 and provided a quick return for his owner trainer Nick Tarido.
Hill who is well on target to smash her 135 wins of last season, she completed her century on just 366 drives so far this season.
The wonder girl from the south went on to drive a treble on the program, she scored on fast class pacer Mark Dennis who returned to the winners circle. It was the son of Bettors Delight’s 29 th win but only his second this season for trainer Lance Holberton.
Hill’s third leg of her treble came in the final race when My Man Dan won the Claiming event on the card. My Man Dan is a 10 year old by Pacific Rocket, has been in good form of late and deserved the victory.
Hill will line up in the Pink Ribbon Ladies Challenge on Saturday night at Globe Derby which is partly sponsored by Harnesbred.com.
