The annual Yarra Valley Melbourne Cup Day trots meeting attracted a huge crowd.
On-course was awash with colour and patrons lapped up the opportunity to watch the trots live and the gallops from Flemington on the big screen.

Today we’re doing it all over again, but this time a star-studded line-up will contest the United Petroleum Yarra Valley Pacing Cup, including superstar and Inter Dominion favourite Hectorjayjay, Emma Stewart-trained big guns Major Secret, Restrepo, Guaranteed and reigning Country Cups king Yankee Rockstar, Adam Kelly-trained pair Chilli Palmer and Five Star Anvil, and the consistent country cups specialist Kotare Roland, who caused a boilover in last season’s Cobram Cup when he won at over 100-1.
