It’s with true excitement and joy we can announce that Harness Racing Victoria and Club Menangle will be providing  a massive $100K in Bonuses for yearlings purchased at the Melbourne and Sydney APG sales in 2020.

This incredible offer will be greatly appreciated by the loyal and passionate APG buyers / investors that drive this amazing sport forward. These harness racing champions, along with so many passionate and enthusiastic followers will ensure that Harness Racing has a strong and vibrant future.

A $25K Bonus will be available for the highest finishing C&G and Filly in the 2yo Gold Bullion finals in both Melbourne and Sydney who fulfil the following three criteria:

1.         Bred in NSW or Victoria (Inseminated, foaled and branded in the relevant state).

2.         Genuinely sold at the APG sale in the same state as it was bred.

3.         Contested the 2yo Gold Bullion final in the same state as it was bred and sold.

To collect the $25K, your purchase doesn’t have to win the race, just to be officially the first past the post of those who fulfil all three criteria.

FOr the full terms & conditions of APG’s Series 31 Race Series (for 2020 Sales Graduates), please click here.

The above builds on the extremely well received new $2.4 Million race series, that help set the Brisbane Sale alight last Sunday.  Incredibly only 2 horses are still to find a home from that sale.

APG’s new race series format (as voted for by participants) sees each “APG state” host its own 2yo, 3yo & 4yo APG Gold Bullion Finals, as follows:
All states (including Queensland) will host separate divisions for colts and fillies, whilst both NSW and Victoria will also host an additional end of season “Gold Sovereign Series” for both their 2yo & 3yo age groups, featuring $30,000 Group Three Finals.

To be eligible to run in a particular state’s heats and/or finals, a horse must have either been:

a) purchased in the relevant state; or

b) trained by a trainer registered in the relevant state for a period of at least 28 days prior to heats (as evidenced by a stable return).

We will have online and telephone bidding options available if you are unable to attend. If you have any issues with the online registrations, John Coffey has personally inspected all of the Melbourne yearlings and will be pleased to answer any questions that you may have on the individuals featuring in the sale, or to bid on your behalf.  John can be contacted on 0418 500 211.

Please phone Louise Toulmin on 0400 950 699 or e-mail her at louiset@apgold.com.au and she’ll be pleased to assist you with your pre-sale bidding approvals or to answer any other questions that you may have.

Sale commences on Sunday at 10am, Inglis sales complex, Oaklands Junction
