14 December 2022 | HRNSW MEDIA | AMANDA RANDO
One driver missing from tonight’s Bathurst formguide is champion reinswoman Amanda Turnbull.
Despite having four starters nominated at the meeting, Turnbull has stayed on campaigning in Victoria with her pacer Bundoran.
The pair raced in the $500,000 Inter Dominion Grand Final at Melton last Saturday night and are aiming at the Cranbourne Cup this weekend.
Bundoran finished second in two Inter Dominion heats before finishing a luckless ninth in the final.
The results pushed Bundoran’s earnings to $301,687.
As for Turnbull, she is one of the leading trainer-drivers in NSW this season.
With less than a month of the term to go, Turnbull has driven 134 winners and trained 75 winners this season across Australia.
