Three meetings in four days – this is what the Newcastle Harness Racing Club faces.
The action starts tonight for Newcastle before the track prepares for one of its biggest nights of the year on Sunday.
The Newcastle Harness Racing Club is hosting the vital final round of Inter Dominion Championships heats.
With three heats for the pacers and two for the trotters, it is the last time horses can earn points to compete in the rich finals at Menangle on December 11.
Following the second round of heats at Bathurst on Wednesday night, champion King Of Swing is at the top of the pacing points score with his stablemate Expensive Ego.
In the trotting ranks, Timothy Red surged to the top following his victory at Bathurst on Wednesday night also.
Those three horses are the only ones to go through this Inter Dominion series undefeated so far.
