WITH a $5000 travel voucher on offer there is plenty to look forward to at the upcoming New South Wales Standardbred Owners Association (NSWSOA) awards night.
Held on the same night as the $250,000 Chariots Of Fire at Tabcorp Park Menangle on February 18, the awards night starts at 6pm following the NSWSOA Annual General Meeting.
“Our major award is a travel voucher from Ovation Travel for $5000 to the member whose name is drawn on the night. The member must be present to claim the award,” said NSWSOA Secretary Maureen Green.
“Each table will have $100 punting money from our Association, to have some fun with.
“There will also be a lucky door prize for someone attending on the night.”
Along with these prizes, a number of awards will be handed out on the night and they include:
Two-Year-Old Filly of the Year
Two-Year-Old Colt/Gelding of the Year
Three-Year-Old Filly of the Year
Three-Year-Old Colt/Gelding of the Year
Four-Year-Old Mare of the Year
Four-Year-Old Horse/Gelding of the Year
Aged Mare of the Year
Aged Horse/Gelding of the Year
Trotting Female of the Year
Trotting Male of the Year
Trotting Owner of the Year
NSW Standardbred Owner of the Year
The NSWOA AGM is at 5pm and the following awards evening is free for members and $65 per head for other guests.
