ADDING to the excitement of this year’s Arthur J. Gallagher HRNSW Awards Night is the new TAB Kevin Newman Award For Driving Excellence.
Named in honour of arguably one of the state’s greatest drivers, the late Kevin Newman OAM, this award is to give merit to the best New South Wales drive during the 2016/17 season.
Harness racing fans get to have their say and nominate their favourite drive through HRNSW’s Facebook page.
Out of the top nominated drives on Facebook, a survey will then be sent out where the public get to vote again and get the chance to win a $2000 betting account with Tabcorp.
The five drivers in contention for the Award will be invited to the Awards Night and the winner will receive a prize and a trophy.
This is one of many awards to be announced at the Arthur J. Gallagher HRNSW Awards Night on October 28 at the Hilton Sydney.
