At just his ninth start, exciting four-year-old Turn It Up proved too slick for his rivals in last night’s 3200-metre edition of the Group One.
Driven by co-trainer Mark Purdon, Turn It Up emulated the feat of his former stablemate, Vincent, which captured last season’s edition.
Also a four-year-old when triumphant, Vincent was a 2015 Sydney APG buy.
As for Turn It Up, he is a graduate of the 2016 Melbourne APG Sale.
By Courage Under Fire, Turn It Up is from O Narutac Bella, which has a colt by Art Major in this year’s APG Melbourne Sale.
The handsome yearling will enter the Oaklands Junction sale ring as Lot 90 on February 3.
