AUSTRALIAN Pacing Gold graduate Eye See Double faces a tough task in his bid to maintain his perfect record at Globe Derby tomorrow night.

Unbeaten from two starts, the talented freshman is engaged in the Kindergarten Stakes for trainer Alyce Finnis.

To Finnis’ dismay, Eye See Double has drawn wide on the front line against a handy assembly of youngsters.

“It’s quite a nice line up, so he will have his work cut out for him,” Finnis said. “The wide draw makes it tough.

“The main dangers appear to be the two on the back row, but it’s hard to judge as they’re still all early two-year-olds.

“So far he has done everything we’ve asked of him and you can’t ask for more than winning his two starts.

“He has trained on well since winning his heat last week and will be better again in the Final.”

Second behind Eye See Double in their qualifier, Gottahaveahobby has drawn the inside of the back row, with Pinkie Promise on his outside.

Successful in his heat, Pinkie Promise boasts two wins and a second from three starts.
